Область применения прибора – измерение толщины защитного слоя бетона и расположения арматуры в железобетонных изделиях и конструкциях на предприятиях стройиндустрии и объектах строительства, а также при обследовании эксплуатируемых зданий и сооружений.
Прибор, в отличие от аналогов, имеет моноблочную конструкцию, совмещающую электронный блок и встроенные датчики, имеет возможность индицировать положения арматуры относительно своих осей X и Y. Принцип действия прибора основан на возбуждении в металлическом объекте импульсных вихревых токов и измерении вторичного электромагнитного поля, которое наводят эти токи.
В качестве приемников электромагнитного поля используются четыре встроенных датчика, расположенных симметрично оси Y и оси X.
ИПА-МГ4.02 имеет три основных режима работы:
определение оси арматурного стержня;
определение толщины защитного слоя при известном диаметре;
определение диаметра арматурного стержня при известной толщине защитного слоя.
Прибор ИПА-МГ4.02 дополнительно снабжен функцией определения параметров армирования при неизвестных диаметре и толщине защитного слоя бетона, имеет подсветку дисплея, часы реального времени, индикацию расположения арматуры, индикатор уровня заряда аккумуляторной батареи, передачи измеренных параметров армирования из памяти прибора в ПК через USB порт.
Питание прибора осуществляется от встроенного литий-полимерного аккумулятора с напряжением питания 3,7 В емкостью 1800 мА ч, потребляемый ток 77 мА.
